Frustrations on the 4th of July

What a frustrating day. The forecast for today has been, is, and continues to be rain/thunder likely according to NOAA. There are patches of blue sky and sun then just as rapidly (just as I'm saing to myself -- I'll go out and ride) the sky clouds over and rain falls. I don't ride in the rain if I can avoid it and when it comes to riding in thunder storms -- forget that. So, today is frustration. I can only hope that tomorrow there is sufficient clear weather to get out and ride.

Even though I've got lots of miles logged and I can use a "rest day" I'm so used to being out there and active...

Guess I'll go and read a book or something. (As for that other suggestion, I've already done that for today. )
