| Climbing & Insertion points I have been rock climbing for several years. I have been using an insulin pump for about two years and am still trying to figure out how to integrate the two.
I have always used the Silhouette but I am now trying the Quick Set. I have always inserted in my hip and have found decent spots where my harness will not effect the insertion point. However, I have recently been told that I must use other sites, due to scar tissue. I am leaving for Yosemite, in one week, to spend 4 days on the side of a rock wall. Needless to say, I am a bit nervous about where to insert the infusion set. Has anyone experienced this and figured out a place that works well with their climbing harness? |
