crossfit

i do cross fit and it workes really well and i am really in shape but i have to make sure i dont take insulin at least 30 mins befor or oi go to low because it workes better with excersise. does anyone else have to do this before they excercise

For me, it depends on what kind of exercise. If I am doing a program with weights, pushups etc, I actully have to take insulin right before I work out (seemed backward, but reading Pumping Insulin taught me why....) but if I'm running and no weights, I usually just take off the pump (since I go 30 45 minutes). Running, if I am below 135, I will take about 10 carbs. Probably if I stopped insulin prior that might get rid of the carb requirement though. What's cross fit?
