I pulled a Deercotn maneuver ...

Had a half cup of my bean soup (yes with the black soybeans) for afternoon snack, and whap! 128 an hour later ... and it was close to dinner by then.

So I worked out 30 min and brought it down to 77 ... quite a drop for a modestly aerobic workout! So I had dinner as planned.

Thanks, Deercotn -- I might've thought of it anyhow, but this time, I thought of YOU, too!

I would not advise it as a strategy on a regular basis, or anything, but it did make me feel better to do something about my blood sugar.
