Jackie,

I have considered yoga and even acquired a book on it, but haven't tried but a couple of poses. I was in the grocery store and found "Yoga Journal" on the newsstand. The flexibility of some of those people was amazingly impressive.

The local public libray here has a bulletin board for various classes in the area. There is a yoga class listed. Maybe you could find something similar in your area. The class here is inexpensive. It might be a good way to give it a try with someone knowledgeable to assist and guide you.

I think I will stand and stretch now.

Travis

The community college in your area probably offers a yoga class for a reasonable price. It is pretty cheap where I am. And you can get PE credits if you ever decide to go back to college.

I recently bought Yoga For Dummies on tape, since classes here are few and far between. It's very easy to follow and actually kind of fun. I have however realized that I have no sense of balance and no flexibility to speak of, but the more I do it I'm sure it will improve. I'm really good at lying on the floor and breathing out through my fingers and toes though.

Hey, I have been very active lately. And I got my treadmill working yesterday. I went for a 20min walk to no where.

Come on, I am not that bad Travis!:p I prefer to lie on a couch or a bed anyway

I don't know about breathing through my fingers though. I usually use my nose or mouth for that.
