| | Dancing (I can't dance)
One night last week I was enjoying my time with a lady. She wanted to dance. So we did. We are on the dance floor. She was dancing. Not sure what I was doing, but she said to me your goin have to move faster than that. So I had to pick up the pace.
So dancing isn't my favorite exercise. For now it is landscaping.

| | Dancing is in my genes!! My mom taught dancing when I was a kid - foxtrot, two-step, tango, etc.- so I was raised on it. And I love it! She would have my head if I ever brought home a man who couldn't two-step at least! So I'm with you on this one-it is definitely one of the best forms of exercise to me! It even manages to make vacuuming fun instead of a chore when I crank the stereo and shake my bootie! lol
Number two fave is kickboxing. My reason is that I'm petite (I hate that word!) so it's great when I can hurt a guy! Just what he deserves for underestimating me! I'ved never tried Tai Bo but have heard good stuff about it! Anyone try it?
Tony, you are too funny! At least you went out on the dance floor; I've known guys to laugh in my face when I wanted to dance! Maybe you should take lessons! Uh oh, did I just say a bad thing?! Women love a guy who can dance... |

| | | Shalyndria,
Yes, dancing while vaccuming makes it fun and so does dancing while dusting or anything else I do! Heck, I even dance when I am in the car! LOL.....
I have tried Tae-Bo and it is a great workout, but too intense for me to stick with!

| | | Tony you sound like me! I don't even bother trying to go out on a dance floor anymore. I have just come to accept that I am rhythmically challenged. (Is that the right term?) Some guys were just not meant to dance! Sorry girls, we will just have to find another way to have fun together! |

| | | Hi Jenny,
I love to dance! I got majorly into Irish set dancing 6 years ago when i lived in ireland for a year of university. It is a great way to have fun and get some exercise thrown in for free!

| | | jenny Sh*t, I knew I spelled Tae-bo wrong! What a blonde! lol
I dance in my car, too. Crank the stereo, especially at the red lights. Ever notice how stupid people look when they are just singing, deadpan, in their car? Not me; I go crazy. Then I look like a stupid person having fun! Friends refuse to get in the car with me. Hey, might as well give 'em something to see!
What do you do as a workout? Do you dance at a class? Go to a gym? |

| | | LOL Shalydria,
I did Tae-Bo at home for about a year and then got bored with it...plus as I said, it was a little too intense for me. Anyways, I just dance at home. I crank up the tunes and jam. I have a gym downstairs in my home if I feel like lifting. What do you do for dancing...just stay at home or go to a gym? Personally, I don't like working out in front of other people, so I choose to do it at home unless I go for a walk or something like that....

| | | Oh, Jenny, you are soo lucky! I can't afford to have any gym equipment in my house, only an aerobic step, a mat, and my kickboxing, step, and pilates tapes. But I would love to have better weights than the little dinky hand ones I have.
I go to a gym to work out. Spa-Lady, which is not a coed gym. My mom says I'm stupid for being so uptight. For a couple months a while ago, I would go to the line-dancing classes at my local centre, but they got too old. Knew how to do them already, and the people in the class were not as fun. So now I go to the bar. I'm not a big drinker, so my friends and I go to dance all night. We'll hit a country bar one weekend, a today kind of bar the next, etc. And if I want to be worked out good and shown up bad, I go to my mom's and we crank the stereo. Then she teaches me some more moves. She was doing that while we washed our cars the other day. What people must've been thinking! |

| | I lifted weights for a while. That was until the fat and muscle started dropping off my body and I found out I had diabetes and was in ketosis.
Dancing. I can't for the life of me figure out why people do it. I don't see the use in it. Or the fun. Plus you look like a dork. Well, I do anyways. lol!
I also have a theory that the only reason guys dance is because women do. Why else would a guy do that? How 'bout it, guys? Will you admit to that or is it too out of touch?
Just my thoughts. I also despise football, basketball and golf. Go figure.

| | | I tried jogging once. But my beer kept sloshing out of the can so I had to stop. Does that count?
P.S. It does it when I dance, too. |

| | | Snydermom,
