bad twitch

hi,

For the last two weeks or so i've had a seriously annoying twitch over my right eye. Its across my eyelid and it sometimes twitches really fast. I've had the odd twitch around my eyes before but never this annoying and for this long. It seems worse when i'm out and looking at things in the distance and stuff. I think it's also giving me headaches because its making everything i see through my right side jump and jerk. Its not there 100% of the time but i'd say around 80% now....so it's really begining to annoy me.

I thought it would clear up but it hasn't.

Im going to see the doctor next week about a few things including this, but before i go does anyone think it coul be diabetes related?

It's definiteley across my eyelid, if i touch my lid i can feel it, almost like a trapped nerve maybe. also if i look in the mirror when its happening i can see it moving, it's making my eye lashes move which i can see in my vision and is annoying too!

i hope its something that wont be there forever.

I hope you find the answer Lor.... I have the EXACT same thing. I also have a twitch that comes and goes in my baby finger on the left hand. I had an EMG and some other awful tests that shows some nerve damage in my arms. I am wondering if the twitch in my eye might be also some type of nerve damage. I hope not.

I have had that kind of twitch before. I have heard that it doens't mean that much, I heard it could be due to stress, or being tired. Don't know if that's true though
