Robertson, it's also call IOP, it's eye pressure, when the eye doc measured the pressure on your eyes maybe you were above 21. if the eye pressure is, let's say 25 they'll prescribe lowering hypertension medicine, most of the time these are eye drops applied daily.
If not treated the person gets glaucoma, but first the person loses peripherial vision, the doc should have done a field test on you to see if you are OK with your peripherial vision.
The pressure on my eyes are 20 right now, but mine were like 27, I'm trying to see if I find a better medicine or supplement to take so it wouldn't go back up to above 21.
To lower the eye pressure a person may use a beta blocker they work, but I don't like the side effects. (Google: beta blockers)
Were you prescribed any meds?
Do you know your eyes pressure?
