Back from my appointment

I almost feel guilty writing this because I know some of you have eye issue's........

Well, I went today, and my right eye is perfect, my left eye still has that one little dot, or vessel that is damaged, but this time the dot was so small the doctore couldn't even barely see it. So he said it was obviously healing, and there is no other dots or broken vessels anywhere in that eye, So no damage to report the eyes are still good...

On my vision my right eye is still 20/20, my left eye is just at the mark of maybe needing some glasses but the doc said my eyes looked very very dry, so they gave me some artificial tears to use, and if in two weeks my vision is still blurry, I might need glasses but they were very optimistic that I really didn't have barely any vision issue's since I could read most of of the letters on the wall.....

So all good news, Now I have to go get the a1c done and have kidney test and I want my thyroid tested again, my hair is falling out and all, so I am going to a GP, and asking for tests complete blood work, then I am going to ask him to set me up for a new endo, I didn't like the two I have seen, and the one I want to get in with is a type 1 on the pump himself.....So he might be better, but all endo's require a referal, and new patients it takes a couple of months to actually get an appointment, so that is why I am going to ask this GP, to do blood works so I know where I am at....

Never feel bad about sharing good news! We're all a sort of family, so we celebrate or commiserate, whichever the occasion calls for. So glad you had a good exam.

Don't feel guilty! I wish I had read some personal eye accounts 5 or 10 years ago, then maybe I wouldn't be adding my own to the list. The more motivation you have to stay healthy, the better. Congradulations, and hopefully the rest of your tests come back just as positive!!!

Heck no! Good news is uplifting. No guilt there. I go for my yearly exam on the 18th. I had a tiny dot on my left eye last visit. I hope mine is healed also. I hope to hear the good news you heard today!

Congratulations!

I completely agree with Nancy. It makes me so happy to hear from those who are doing well and have good health, eyes or otherwise! Though I accept it, I don't think anyone deserves Diabetes.

Me, talking to Diabetes: "Ha ha ha, Cheryl and Grace Girl just kicked your fanny!"
