Went for an eye check up today.....

Well, I am very happy today and it seems a bit unreal to me. I have 20/40 in both eyes! All I can say is THANK YOU JESUS!!!

No new vessels and I do have a slight film in the right eye and mentioned that can be taken care of with a lil laser. She said she would prefer not to do anything right now. My eye is just extrememly dry and she checked my cornea and everything, thorouly. Refresh drops are not helping. She mentioned some refresh nighttime gel.
Anyone have any experience with this?

That's great news! Although my retina's are in great shape, I'm extremely nearsighted...so go figure! Have been that way since 3rd grade, runs in my family. It's time for my yearly eye checkup, but I'm waiting for my upcoming move this fall.

My daughter used that for awhile Cinn. It really worked well for her, but make sure you are close to be when you put them in. It is hard to see after you apply it.

My eyes are also dry and a lot of it had to do with my lack of water consumption in the daytime. I increased my water and my dry eyes did much better. Down side? You get up at night.

Great news Marlene! Glad you're pretty well healed. Wonder if being in love has anything to do with it?

I've used the Refresh, both drops and gel. The gel works well when the drops aren't enough.

Carry on with the recovery! Mich

Great news. I used the gel for awhile but I'd wake in the morning with an awful blurriness until it worked it's way out.

Well that is just GREAT news Mars

I'm due for a check-up soon - just before I had my baby the eye doc spotted a new vessel but he thought it would settle down once the pregnany was over. Fingers crossed!!
