It's been a while since I've been on here but things have kinda been all go since I ifnished college in June so here is a little (!!) update!
Well having finished in Bath at the end of June I got transferred up home to the eye clinic up here about my left eye - Bath had said that I had an infection in the middle of the eye and I had 2 steriod injections to try and clear it up... but when I came back up here they werent really happy with that conclusion and so they spoke with people in London (where going to be nxt yr) as well as others in Inverness and came to the conclusion that I had had a haemorrage in my eye and only noticed once my vision had got really blurry...
soo.. last friday I had more laser surgery because I had 2 vessels at the back of the eye that were very enlarged and they wanted to stop the risk of them leaking, I also had a 'dye' test to highlight the blood vessels and just generally see what was going on.. they werent too happy with the pics lol.
Well i went back for a supposed check up on Thursday - and ended up havingmore laser becuase he hadnt caught all of the blood vessels the wk before - and he is still not sure he has got all of it because of all the 'gunk' in the middle of my eye... but I am being transferred to London now as that is where I am goin to be for the next year if not more! So will have to see what happens down there.
The ppl up here also said that if the vision doesnt clear up after all this laser.. then they may have to operate to clear all the 'gunky stuff' that is floating around in the middle of the eye...REALLY dont want this
scares me just thinking about it.
buuuuuut on the otherside of things, things are good - have landed myself a job in London doing my Nannying and start on the 4th sept
and will be with this family for a year, maybe even longer - so im just gettin all my stuff ready for that!.
