Cool Time to celebrate!!!!!

Yesterday I had an appointment with the retina specialist that did both of my vitrectomies. He said everything looks great, no leaking blood vessels, all retina swelling is gone and the best part... I don't have to come back. He told me to visit my regualr optho in 4-5 months!!!!! I was so excited to hear 4-5 months, as I've been at the eye docs at least twice a month for a year now. (Once a week when I was in the middle of laser.) If all goes as it should at that next appointment, I should be able to reduce my number of visits to 3 a year.
Yipee!

Awesome news! That's good to hear about the frequency. I've been at least every three months for the last three years. I'm hoping in a couple of weeks mine drops me back too.
