Left Eye

Last week i was told i have diabetes type 2 .. which im still in shock about, but now in the last week my eye sight has got worse every day ... only last week i remember reading how many carbs were in a can of soda and now i cant read any incredient labels , when i close my right eye my left eye is so bad i cant see the time on my pc clock.

my long vision appears to be ok , altho its still worse in my left eye (not as noticeable as when im close up) and im freaking out a bit , this is so much to take in, in such a small amount of time.

my blood glucose levels are still high generally between 8 and 13 ( i think multiply by 18 for the conversion this forum seems to use so .. 144 to 234) , last week i was generally 17+ (306+)

i going to the docs on friday but would like ur input. is it comon for this vision problems .. in one eye? and i cant read things i could last week .. does it happen that fast...

im bored of diabetes now i dont want it anymore! (if only it was that easy) lol

Yes, vision problems like this are common. Mix that with getting old and only a specialist and time will reveal the truth. Hang in there. Things tend to clear up over the first month(s).
