Eye issue solved

Apparently my vision is not a diabetic related issue
Everything diabetes wise my eyes looked great. BUT, my vision is being blurred by a blocked drain vein from the retina. Since it cannot drain the retina has swelled which causes the blurry vision. He said that he could give me a shot in my eye that would reduce the swelling. It may get a little better, it could go back to normal OR it could get worse and I loose the vision in that eye. Right now he said it's a wait and see game.
Ugh........all I need

Alaska, please get a second opinion. If I am understanding your post correctly then it sounds like you have narrow angle glaucoma. If that is what you have it is easily correctible and can have serious consequences if you don't get it fixed. My mother had narrow angle glaucoma and her opthamologist sent her to an eye surgeon that had it fixed in minutes.

Here is one of many articles on the subject. My mother had NO pain and only blurry vision. Acute Narrow Angle Glaucoma

I went to the best surgeon in the state. He said the exiting blood vessel had clogged. Not the fluid drain.
I will call my old eye doc soon to get the skinny

It won't hurt to get a second opinion, Alaska. Keep us posted.
