Why does it look like a road map

I have had a few avastin shots and will have laser also soon. I can see a black outlined thing in my vision like on a map. Does anyone ever have this happen to them?

The only similar thing I had to this was when I was hemorrhaging, but it was dark red and solid. It was the exact shape. Does it float or remain in one place? Mine floated. I had a vitrectomy and it cleared up.

It stays in one place and seems to be getting smaller. I am taking avastin shot in the eye so hopefully it's helping.

Ok bear with me for a sec on this one lol

does it look like a dark outlined area and inside the outline is brighter or a different color then the rest of your visual field?

if so ask to have your optic nerve and eye pressure checked out. Prior to my glaucoma diagnosis I saw this. After being on meds for glaucoma for a few months it went away.

lets us know what you find out.

The injections could be raising your intraoccular pressure too. So maybe if this is the cause and it will go away after you are done with the injections.

It is toatally clear inside and round and slightly blurry. It is just the outline that is black in color. I can't wait to see the specialist this week.I think my eyesight might be improving some because I can see the numbers on Deal Or No Deal on the suitcases when I cover the good eye. It's still blurry but before I couldn't even make out the numbers.
