Tried Nepretin?

Hello everyone. My husband has proliferative retinopathy and has had focal laser and PRP done. It seems to hold him for awhile, but the doctors just want to keep lasering. He has lost some vision from the lasers and one eye has never felt the same since. He is going to try Nepretin as we prefer natural health alternatives whenever possible. Has anyone tried it? It is for retinopathy and neuropathy.
Thanks for any input....Linda

Welcome Linda,

Never heard of it. I quickly read a site on it, but it really does smell like a scam. Testimonials like

"I have been taking the Nepretin formulation for about four months and have seen a gradual improvement since taking the product. I can only hope to have continued improvement in my vision."

are so misleading. Retinopathy is asymptomatic. A person has no way of telling whether their retinopathy has improved or not. They can tell if blood has cleared from the vitreous fluid and a few other conditions like edema and occlusion, but that's about it.

The best thing you can do is get his A1C down to sub-6. If he's running high, there's not much anywhere that will help him. Damage will happen faster than any such cure.
