I was just reminded in another post that you'll want a mild laxative. They gave me Senokot S.

Throne groans are not something you'll want to experience.

Good luck if you're up and about. I know I would be.

Hey Peej,

I'll keep you in mind tomorrow with good thoughts.

They didn't give me any Senekot before mine. I guess it's a crapshoot. Ooooooo. Bad.

Wishing you a straight, easy and inteesting day,

Mich

Are you having a virectomy to eliminate floaters? I've been strongly considering the same surgery to get all this **** out of my eyes.

No.

He will probably check in after his follow-up today. My surgeon talked with me about it in post-op, but I went back the next day for an exam.

His vision right now is pretty blurry and he's in quite a bit of discomfort. There wasn't much pain, but it was an odd, uncomfortable few days.

Well friends that was a trip. For anyone out there that has fears about this procedure you shouldn't. This was easier and less stressful than all the laser sureys I've had done. John's description is very accuate of the whole thing. Doc walks in asks

How's it going
Pretty good...zzzzzzzzz
Hmmmm am I snoring..zzzzzzzz
What's that light and strange looking....zzzzzzz
Wow this is a trip I wonder if...zzzzzzzz
All done Chris we're going to wheel you into recovery now!

That was it, off I went to Tim Hortons and rested the the rest of the day. The itching is driving me crazy but I go for my post op apt in about 2 hours so I'll get the low down then. The Doc did tell my wife that all went well and there was no damage so he just vaccumed out and topped me off. Thanks for the support everyone and I'll let you know what I find out later.

That is good news.

I expect an easy recovery. They didn't hoover the retina like they did me, so chances of any complications are probably next to none.

Hopefully it stays clean inside.
