twitching...

well, my left eye has been twitching for about 2-3 weeks. i've been waiting for it to go away, but it doesnt seem to want to. it's like a spasm, and it is not constant. i can't explain when or why it happens, it just does. is this a sign of retinopathy or what?

My husband lost his sight due to diabetic retinopathy, Dobson, and he never mentioned such a symptom. I don't think it's related. Of course, if it continues, you should see your doctor, just to be sure.

Don't worry about it too much. I have this problem, but it tends to be related to stress!

yep stress, and also a lack of sleep i belive. it happens to everyone, and i think has no bearing on whether you are a diabetic or not.
