| | | hi, i just thought i would pass this on...please excuse my ignorance if this has no relevance to your situation....one of my students....who is legally blind...blind in one eye poor vision in the other. (not diabetic)..last summer lost his vision completely....he had bleeding in the gel behind the eye...they said they could do surgery but didnt want to risk the vision he had in his limited eye...so the dr. had him stay upright all the time...sleeping too...and the vision in his eye did return....it took a while though....but they were also worried recovery from surgery would have taken a while....since then he has not had the problem again.... this is competely a different situation i know and i apologize for not knowing more about your situation or beiing able to explain his better....but it helped him and i wish there was something some one could suggest to help you...so my heart is in the right place...but my knowledge base may not be....
wishing you improvement and peace of mind....

Right now control of my blood pressure is critical. I am taking it easy. Doc did tell me not to bend over but didn't discuss sleeping. I usualy sleep with my head high anyway.
We're shooting for it to clear enough by Tuesday to see the problem and if needed zap it. I had two smaller bleeders over the winter that he couldn't even find and another in the fall he found but I saw no blood. |

It's slowly clearing. I can now see the headlines on the TV about Sen. Kennedy, barely.
It doesn't make life easier given all the other recent problems on here. |

| | | Hey-John!!
I'm so sorry to here of your eyes, I can relate to what you're going through, my wife had both cataracts removed, in between waiting for surgery, she had constant bleeding at the back of her eyes, course, what never helped, she suffered with high blood pressure for years, no surgeon will touch her eyes until this was under control.
Hope all goes right for you, this must be a bummer for you, if this is any consolation, when my wife was going through her eye problems, she once said to me, of all the illnesses she'd had, this is hard to deal with, not being able to see properly, a costly surgeon, two operations my wife eyes are OK now.
I'm sure this will be sorted, all the best John.

I'm worried, but hopeful. It's slowly clearing and not getting worse.
Here's a simulation of my end-of-day vision after a day of mixing, left & right. I do get a bit dizzy. |

| | | Glad it's starting to clear, John. That's good news! Hope your doc can find it Tuesday, zap it and have done with bleeders for a LONG time!

Your pics display the sensation very accurately... I hope those that haven't had eye issues yet take note of how frustrating vision like that would be.
Do you have clear spots that you just can't seem to catch?
