| Focused Area-- Blurs I'm brand new to this Diabetes Forum and will be interested in seeing it work for me and what I can do to help others. Located in California, USA.
My health: 5 years since assessed with Conjestive Heart Failure (CHF), Ejection factor 25%; a 6.7 A1C glucose test, BP-- 140+-/98+-. Doctors put me on Blood Pressure meds, etc.: (1) Lotensin 40mg, (1) Digoxin 25mg, (1) Atenolol 25mg, (1) Triamterene/HCTZ 50/25mg, Glucophage (1) 850mg. Meds changed at different times in the past 5 years. During this period my BP was reduced only by a little (insignificant 135+-/90+-), my calve muscles cramped up especially at night, sometimes severely. Also the bottom and top (instep) of my feet would cramp frequently. Daily, my body would ache all over as if I had walked 10 miles and it would be hard to walk or move. My right foot (3rd & 4th toes) would tingle, and my right index finger then my left index finger would become half numb on one side of it. This numbness stayed for at least 3-4 weeks. I drink water like crazy. 1 gallon plus a day and that leads to many bathroom journeys.
My health recently: Dropped using Lotensin, Digoxin, Atenolol (Doctor not informed). BP: 120/70, muscle cramps 90% gone, muscle aches mostly gone, but numbness comes on after I use my hands, say to twist and turn a stubborn, very small switch to turn on a light in the exact area of my fingers I used to turn the switch. Also, if I hit my hands ever so slightly against something such as a door knob-- it hurts like crazy! I drink water like there's no tomorrow. The same throughout the past 5 years. Numbness in my legs at night is occuring more often with more tingling and shots of electric-type current different places on/in my body. I have dropped Glucophage just in the past 2 weeks and without the Doctors knowing. No differences from this.
For this Forum: Re: EYES -- When I use the computer or read, my focus point has something other then "floater"s (I'm near-sighted) come between my eye and the text. I have to blink and blink and blink and it only clears my vision for a few seconds or a minute or two. Sometimes 10% it does not happen.
Any suggestions as to what it is causing the problem(s)?
