| So, how can I help? I just got an Email from my youngest daughter, who is just over six months pregnant & has never had any issues with D.
"I hadn't heard back from the doctor's office on my blood sugar test from Monday so I called and just got a call back. She said that they like to see levels below 140 on the 1-hour test and mine came back a little high at 145. I now have to go in the morning and take a 3-hr fasting glucose test. Nothing except water after midnight tonight and they'll take blood when I get there and at every hour...ugh. I was so sure I was going to be in the normal range because the nurse practicioner was so confident and I've not had any issues. So much for that."
What is the best way for me to support her, now & if she gets a dx of gestational D? Do I need to prepare her for that dx?
I so didn't want this for her!! There has been no other family hx. Even in my two pregnancies, I had no problems! She is 31, though.
