| | | Emily's Coming! This is a great thing to have these 2 new sub-forums on Type 1.5 and also Gestational Diabetes!!!!
Since we have this new spot, I thought I would post the update on my sister's gestational progress. Well, last week she was put on insulin, and she is doing really well! My sister is one who hates needles, and so everyone was very worried about shots for her, including her especially! But, they gave her the pen, and she does well on it because it is not "syringe-looking". The insulin is helping her a lot and she is doing fine She is also doing well on the checking of her blood. She is staying on top of it all so well I keep telling her that if she ever becomes T2, then we are going to have a celebration with sugar free chocolate, and baby carrots! Yay!!!!
We are down to 9 weeks!!!! Emily's coming

We are down to 9 weeks!!!! Emily's coming | Yep, the forum keeps getting better. I love that last triminster. (looks spelled wrong) It is so exciting. Even more so when you have something to overcome (like gestational diabetes). Keep having fun. And I would suggest the sugar free ice cream and baby carrots now. Why wait for if? My grandbaby is coming in about 14 weeks. I feel like celebrating every day.
HAVE FUN AND THANKS FOR SHARING!!

HAVE FUN AND THANKS FOR SHARING!! | When and what Sydneya? I miss having a baby around, but am afraid if I say that out loud, my son will have another one, and for him that would be a disaster! Don't you love the anticipation of a grandchild???? All this is making me miss the 4 year old in Cleveland, I think I will give him a call!

Yep, I love those grandchillens. If I get just get them to move closer. Shall we get together and show off grandchildren about then?

There's a possibility I will be in Cleveland around that time, if all goes as planned. I will PM my email address to you, the least we can do is exchange pictures!

| | I am happy to hear about your sister. It sounds like she is being really brave and your support must be helping her a lot. Go team! I am looking forward to seeing photos of the soon-to-be Emily and hearing about hearing about the rest of the trimester.
People sure go crazy about babies, eh? |

| | Heck yes, I go crazy for my sweet babies I have one Nephew and then 1 niece (soon to be 2 nieces). I sure do love them, and miss them dearly, considering they are in Minnesota, and I am in Utah. I promise that I will post pics as soon as I can
I talked to my sister today again, and she said that her bg's are still running high a bit, and so they added another shot in there (she does morning and dinner now) and they upped her humalog at dinner. She's being a real trooper I'm so proud of her!

| | That's Great to hear Laura, that your Sis is doing well. I'm glad
she's okay with the pen. I didn't notice if anyone asked if she was
having a c-section? Usually high-risk do have a planned one. Wow,
9 weeks. Is that full term? Emily(pretty name ) will probably
come a couple weeks early anyways. Again that is in the norm with
Diabetics usually. You'll be having lots of Fun with her. My Best to
you All. A Big Kiss for Emily. I love Babies and Little ones.
