A1C results are in

Just received my first lab results after my initial diagnosis. My A1C went from 15+ to 7.4. What a relief. Still a bit high, but good. My cholesterol is in the right range. BS is still a little high. One of my liver tests is also high. My endo said it was probably caused by the Lipitor I'm taking. Overall a great report for me.

That is great news! 15 to 7.4, that is a huge improvement! Way to go!

That is wonderful and that's what treatment can do. Congrats on that. I know many that can't do a jump that far, but I think it's mainly cause they stay in denial so long, it looks like you took action immediately and brought that number down. Many congrats, now go have a piece of cake to celebrate (or maybe not.)

I think your A1c shows how much you do want to get in control of this disease- and I say more power to you . Obviously, you are puttin in the effort to manage things and that's really awesome

Keep up the great work
