Diagnosed 22 years ago

Hello everyone, My name is Art Villalobos, I have been a diabetic since the age of 11 and I am now 33. I have always been a type 1, injecting about 4 times a day, I switched to pump about 6 yrs ago, and I love it. Of course the pump has it problems too, but I still love it. I am finally part of this community, and as we all know, unless you talk to another diabetic, it is hard for some people to know what we are going through. I look forward to hearing from you. Art

Welcome Art, I was diagnosed type one 21 years ago after my five children were born. I feel very lucky. I have been using an insulin pump for almost six years. Welcome to the forums.

Welcome ART... I was just dx in June '06, but I knew a long time before then. Endo wants me to go pump, but I can't decide. Glad you joined DF.
