| | | Another newbie! Hi everyone!
I'm a really new diabetic. I was only diagnosed 3 weeks ago with type 1. Things are getting better, slowly, but I'm still struggling with alot of things. I know it's not the end of the world - I'm looking at it as a good lifestyle change. I had gestational diabetes with my 2.5yr old daughter and was told then that i would more than likely end up with type 2 when i was about 40-50, not type 1 at 25!!
I know that I'll get used to everything - it's only early days yet, but I'm soooo glad I found this forum so I can chat to all you lovely people who know what I'm going through!
Hope to talk to you soon! |

We can definitly all relate to that.
I was diagnosed with diabetes 6 years ago and have since been told i have a new type of diabetes last week
so even though I may be a tenured diabetic i am back to basics and relearning alot about this new diagnosis
but on topic welcome
don't be afraid to ask anything
if you don't ask how will you ever know

| | | Hey, welcome to DF and congrats on the diagnosis, lol.
In case nobody has thought to inform you, you should know that Diabetics are smarter, better looking, kinder and funnier than anyone else around...
Any questions, ask away...
