Talking Introduction

Hello from Nebraska, my name is Marilyn, and I am new to this forum! I am 60 years old (just turned ), I have been a type 1 diabetic for 33 years, it is hereditary in my family. I've been on the pump (4 years), I am back to 5 to 6 injections per day, because of complications with my pump. I am happy to be here, and I hope to make a lot of friends. Have a great day!!!

Hi MazzieRose and welcome. I just "turned" 60, too....it's not easy to do either! I inject 5 to 7 times a day, wish I could have a pump. You will make many friends here, and I hope I am one of them.

Ya, welcome to the club.

Please do tell us about your "complications." Us pumpers want to know and help.

Welcome to DF, Mazzierose. We're glad you found us!

My pump died over the weekend and I had to go back on MDI for two LONG days and hated it!
