| | | ooo eerr..just realised after 60 posts that I have never introduced myself either!
Hi I am called Soso cos I sew sew sew... I am 52yr F Had D for 2.5 yrsish ..controlled ala Bernstein til about 4 months ago when I added Novorapid and a few more carbs (well quite a lot more really) to my meals...
I have a nice husband (T2) and 2 dogs and a cat.. I like sewing (which is lucky as it is my job) and hiking and eating..I like cooking too, but the eating bit is best...IMO
Since my diagnosis, I have had to become aware that I can be the diabetic version of new parent (baby bore) aka..a pancreas bore...
I get down about it all sometimes, I have cried more in the last3 yrs than I have in the last 30 put together (I am not weepy by nature) but I am improving every day and have cheered right up since going on insulin..I feel I am getting my strength back at last..
so that's me...probably should have done this about 55 posts ago lol...

| | Hiya Soso. We're happy you're here, and as KritterMom said, nice to officially meet you.
It's never too late to introduce yourself, and we're glad you did. I was curious about your nickname, so thanks for telling us!
Glad to hear that going on insulin has been helpful to you. Looking forward to hearing and learning more from you!
