| | | Introducing Mony.. Hello everyone..!!
I'm Mony, 56 yrs young, been a Diabetic for 21 yrs. During the last year due to aggresive retinopathy I've become severly sight impaired.. .. , therefore, am dependent on my wife for the insulin + tablets etc.,
I must confess, I'm a joker amd I like to make people laugh.
Being a Diabetic was not my choice but I can & have chosen to be Happy and appreciate the life as it comes..
I look forward to making lots of new friends.
Keep smiling..
Mony....

| | Welcome Mony a/k/a "Mr. Happy"...Glad you found the forums. With your sense of humor and positive attitude, you'll fit right in!
Its great that you have such a supportive wife....I know my hubby makes things much easier on me as well...poor man hasn't had a "Little Debbie Cake" at home in a couple years now!
I'm sure your enthusiasm and positivity will be an encouragement to many here who are dealing with difficult circumstances.

| | Hi Mony and welcome to the group. And to Mrs. Mony too.
Our husbands, wives and significant others (also known as co-diabetics ) are all worth their weight in GOLD. They certainly didn't ask for it either, but plod right down the path beside us. Here's to them all, a little recognized bunch.
Looking forward to hearing more from you. Your attitude and sense of humor will take you far (as you already know.)

| | | Thank you all for a very warm welcome. Its good to smile, even better to laugh and its a pleasure to make others smile, laugh & Happy..! I believe 'In the happiness of others lies my own'..! I do not like to offend people, so my 'jokes' are about me or on me.
I've been married for 32yrs, love my wife dearly..& everyday I tell her she's 'one in million'.....so dazzlingly-pretty that my eyes have worn out looking at her..!(I'm sight-impaired in last 2yrs). Its good to marry someone you love & to love the 'one' you married makes a perfect marriage..!
Keep smiling all.
Mony.
