Hello from Colorado!

Hi! I'm a T1 for about 17 years now. Just changed over to the MM 722RT w/CGMS. Was doing MDI before that. It's amazing the changes that this little wonder has done. I've only been pumping for about a 6 weeks and I already feel better because of the more constant BGs! Of course that shouldn't be a surprise since before I had a son, I was "dumb and invincible" and didn't pay any attention to BGs or A1c or anything. Now that my son is here I realized that I need to stick around! So it's been a journey for me in this short period of time. I've had A1c's as high as 13, my last two before getting on the pump were 8.4 and 8.5. Next goal, <7.0! I look forward to everyones input and any help that I can give as well!

Beo

Welcome

Basal test. It's the foundation of good pump control.
