i'm not really sure that i even have gestation diabetes i've been taking my bs all the time and it seems to be normal but they will not tell me what the normal really is in a preg. women. i've been going by what it says in the book that i got with my bs test thing. i'm 30 almost 31 and i'm due in sept. can anyone tell me what it should be at b4 breakfast, 2 hr. after eatting, and at bed time? i need help please. thank you...
I can help with Gestational Diabetes. I try to have a fasting between 80-100. I want to be under 140 two hours after taking my first bite of food. I am sure there are other on the forum that are familiear with gestational diabetes. They will chime in soon and help you.

i just got my glucose thing and it the book it says b4 every meal should be 90-130 and 2 hrs. after should be below 160 and at bedtime 110-150. i'be been going by that. they did have me on metformin and it made me crazy like a zombie so i kinda took myself off of it and just been watching what i eat. tonight i at somekind of rice ham. meat taco thing and flour tortilla with cheese and 2 cookies. my bs b4 was 94 and 2 hrs. later was 107. but b4 that it was like 116 and dropped to the 94 with in 30min. is that normal? or does that mean that i'm working just fine? thaks for the help
