Hi fellow readers
I have just found this site. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in Feb.07. I am currently on the waiting list for bariatric surgery in Moncton N.B. That waiting list is long. Anybody else waiting?

I'm not waiting, however I would like to welcome you to the forums. I think you'll find that there are some here that are dead set against the surgery, and some that are for it, and possibly some that have had it.

I hope your sugars are doing well in the meantime. How's your thyroid function?

Metformin 500mg twice daily
Enap 5mg

Initial A1c (14th Dec07): 11.6%
15th Jan'08: 9%
3rd March'08 6.8%
6th June'08 6.1%
