Hi and hello from Washington

Hello to all. My name is Jo and my husband got me reading this forum and it is wonderful. It is full of great info. I am a type 1 and have been for 17 years.

My son is also a type 1 (he has been since age 9 he is now 19)

so I have a couple of different perspectives. Well I hope to keep getting great info from everyone. Have a happy week.

I look forward to learning more about you & your son . . . like what insulin(s) you use and if you pump, etc. I hope you feel free to jump right in and give your experiences and opinions!

To answer your questions I use a pump (mini med) with humolog. I am just starting my 4th year with it and I think it is great. I only tried it because of my kid but I am glad i did.
