Ellie, my dad was an herbologist and a certified PA. So none of those ideas are too far out for me! As for pain in the back I also suffer from mild scoliosis (fun!) and my witch doctor is a DO so she does treat that as well. But she just won't do anything for my nausea and abdominal pain until she knows that I am not in danger of perferating a bowel and dieing from that. So I will try it her way for a little while longer then on to other things!

I've been rolling stuff around in my brain,
Have you heard of micro-current? (not muscular stimulation) Non invasive, painless and it works on a cellular level so the chances of making things worse is extremely slight. There are frequencies for everything under the sun. I've even heard of people who could go off D meds by using it. The person I know of (first hand) is a Type 1 - and he didn't go completely off meds but was able to reduce and keep numbers much more stable.

I hope you find relief soon - I know all too well what feeling sick 24/7 is like.

I do 'reif' micro current machine (spelling may be off) and do IV vitamins and minerals every two weeks. I get body work any chance I get (granted not often due to finances), pet as many dogs as possible (does wonders for stress level). I haven't tried accupuncture yet but who knows......

After some disasterous tries I finally found an herb combo that has helped the naseua that I have been battling for 4 years.
genetian and skullcap. Pill culling (chinese combo) is also effective and fairly inexpensive (works on variety of stomach issues)

Keep us posted! would love to hear if you find something that works (that goes for any of you) - it's always good to share what works.

I kept going to drs with abdominal pain for 20 yrs.. had all the tests no answers, pain got wrse and worse and when the crisis came it turned out it was gall bladder disease, with a silty grit instead of stones , it was a big mess...
I had quite a few ultrasounds and only the last one showed anything..my advice be insistent and persevere..I nearly died as a result of letting the situation ride—not to mention the terrible pain and illness I suffered over the years...

After years of just a little pain I finally got deathly ill last year. Dr at er said Flu but decided to do a chest xray because I have asthma. What did he see but gallbladder full of stones. Never diagnosed before, so as soon as they got the infection down enough to go in they did the lazer surgery and I was back to work in 2 wks!

Don't know how they miss gall bladder so often, guess by the time we get to the doc's office the inflamation has settled down again.

My dad would often give us a tea made from horehound and skullcap for our allergies when I was a teen, (tasted terrible!) I found that a little lemon juice helped cut the bitterness though. I need to study up on my herbs and where to get them. Give me some more info on the micro-current device, that sounds interesting! I happen to be an aviation mechanic so anything really high tech like that catches my attention easily!

Plus if I can make it myself it would be even more fun! I allready made me a colloidal silver machine for antibiotic treatment. It works great and it won't make me turn blue because I had it tested for the proper particle size and polarity.
