Male, 53, diagnosed as type 2 on 02-25-08 with an A1c of 10.8
06-25-08 A1c = 5.8 bs ranges from 89 - 120 mgl. Meds; Metformin 500 mg x2 daily, Simvastatin 20 mg x1 daily, Glyburide 2.5 mg x1 daily,Omeprazole 20 mg x1 daily for acid reflux and of course 81 mg Aspirin daily. Still learning alot about the diabetes and am thankful for finding this site.

Lower carb dieter (approx. 75 total carbs/day, more on weekends), taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets Initial A1C 8/06: 9.6
11/06: 6.2.
03/07: 5.3
06/07: 5.4
10/07: 5.3
05/08: 6.2 (right after dealing with shingles and bronchitis)  |
