| | | Hello :) Hello
My name is Jen and I'm a type 1 diabetic, diagnosed when I was two years old (in 1978). My blood sugars have been very difficult to control since I reached puberty, and while I've had many good years on it, I still struggle to prevent sugars from swinging up and down.
On the positive side, I've lived with this for 30 years, without many complications, and I hope I can help people who are just starting out as well as finding some solutions myself
Hello again

| | Hello Jen & welcome to DF. I was diagnosed in 1971 when I was 10 and I too was all over the place plus thin like death warmed up.
Anyway you have come to a helpful place Jen and you will find lots of Brit's who have the same disease as we have.

Why empathize it? | Nah. That's a little pig, included by virtue of the love of eating. Were I to foray into the realm of fat-or-not, I'd have included a picture of a bigger pig.
