Howdy
Just wanted to drop by and say hello. I'm a newly diagnosed diabetic. I was diagnosed around 4 months ago. But I'm now starting to feel much better than I use too.

Welcome... Glad you dropped by. This is a great place to be, its given me so much info and hope. There is so much to learn about D, I feel like this is a "one stop shop" for getting the info I need to gain better control.

Welcome Roy! Glad you found the forums. Tell us a little more about yourself and how you manage your diabetes.

Glad you're feeling better, I didn't realize how bad I felt until I got my blood sugars under control and no longer felt that way.

T2, diagnosed 8/31/06.
Byetta 5 mcg
HCTZ 12.5 mg every other day for BP
Enalapril 20 mg 1 daily (ace-inhibitor)
Lower carb dieter (approx. 75 total carbs/day, more on weekends), taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets

Initial A1C 8/06: 9.6
11/06: 6.2.
03/07: 5.3
06/07: 5.4
10/07: 5.3
05/08: 6.2 (right after dealing with shingles and bronchitis)
