Hello, I'm new

Hello Everyone,
My name is Pam and I'm 52 yrs. old. I live in Illinois for over 6 yrs. I'm married for 35 yrs. and I have 2 daughters.
I'm a diabetic since 1996.
I would like to get to know other diabetics and what your lives are like etc. I look forward to email communication.

Wait a minute you said you were new I dont know many new 52 year olds. Welcome to the forums I am not new and I am 45 with twin three year old boys(almost 4) They are 44 inches tall and weight 47 and 50 pounds By the time they are 10 they will be drafted by the NBA.

Hi- Pam!!

Good evening and welcome to the DF, great support team on here, loads of information, diabetes is a complicated, wide-raging condition with many misunderstandings, myths and misconceptions attached to it.

For me it was a wake-up call signaling that ones diet and lifestyle had to be seriously addressed, managing and controlling, these together with prescribed medication and monitoring where appropriate, contributed to a much better health for me.

Hope to see you post again.
