My son Ethan was diagnosed at 2 1/2 on Thanksgiving Day 2006. His bg was 602 and had small ketones. We did MDI ( 60-65 a week) for 9 months. He is now 4 and pumping. My name is Danyiel. I am a mom of 2 beautiful boys.....Ethan 4 and Reidar 5. I have been married to my husband Tom for 7 1/2 fantastic years. |

Enalapril 20 mg 1 daily (ace-inhibitor)
Lower carb dieter (approx. 75 total carbs/day, more on weekends), taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets Initial A1C 8/06: 9.6
11/06: 6.2.
03/07: 5.3
06/07: 5.4
10/07: 5.3
05/08: 6.2 (right after dealing with shingles and bronchitis)  |
