| | | hello from daveF's wife Hi
As you can see I'm davef's long suffering and unsupportive wife Orla!!! David keeps me up to date with all the goings-on on the forum. He has made some wonderful friends here - I think in some ways it seems better than actual face to face contact. You guys have something in common that I cannot truly understand or appreciate (if you know what I mean!!) so for you to have each other means an awful lot to David!!
Regards
Orla |

| | Hi Orla, nice to meet you! I know my husband is SO happy I found the forums, as he had his hands full with me when first diagnosed. And you're right, the forums are much better than face to face, as we can be as anonymous as we need to be...yet still receive support and encouragement.
I feel sorry for you spouses, as we can be cranky, obsessive and worried, sometimes on a daily basis...and i'm sure we've ruined many dinners out for you all as well....yet you're still right there for us whenever we need you.
We're glad to have Dave as part of our forum family....and we welcome you as well!

| | Hi Orla,
I'm so glad you're here! My husband gets tired of listening to me talk about the DF - so nice to see a very supportive spouse! Please post often - you might be able to give us all some good insight! Thanks for coming!

He has become a wonderful friend to me and many others here. I really think he is darn lucky to have you. And don't worry about Dave's behavior on here. He's always been the perfect gentleman.

| | | Orla,
Welcome. I wish my wife would take more of an interest in things. It is hard, I've made dramatic changes in my life and it has been hard. We don't eat the same things anymore and I exercise and she doesn't. Dave is really lucky to have your support. Maybe I can get my wife on the forum.
