| | | Trish aka Shockme Trish aka "shockme" passed away on August 26, 2008 from complications of pneumonia. She was very supportive and wrote many encouraging posts on diabetes sites. She called me "Daddy Richard". She had many email friends in the USA and the UK who were diabetics. Many of you remember what a wonderful sense of humor she had. She posted so many funny jokes here on DF. I am sure many of us will always hold fond memories of Trish. May she rest in peace.

| | | Its sad to lose one of our "family." My thoughts and prayers are with her family through this sad and difficult time. I'll always remember her great sense of humor and kindness.
I talked with her pastor today to see if there was an "on-line" guest book we could link to and sign. He said there wasn't, but we could e-mail him any posts and he'd make sure her husband and family got them....so that's what i'll do when everyone has had a chance to offer their condolences.

| | She was the life of the forum for awhile. She was way too young to die.

| | | This is indeed sad news. Trish contributed much to this group and she will be missed. I'm sure many people here remember Trish's funnies regarding cats. I appreciate that she shared her great sense of humor with us, I will never know how she came up with all of those stories and pictures she shared, but she kept people smiling. She loved her own kitties and we traded pictures of our cat pals.
She had some great suggestions for living daily with diabetes and I appreciated her input.
My condolences to her Husband and family and members of her church.
Peace to you, Trisha.
