| | | Intro Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum so please forgive me if I post something in the wrong place. I am T2 since 99. I take oral meds but in the past 2 years A1C has climbed up to 7.8 and sometimes 8.0. Meds were changed a week ago to Janument.
I am just looking for support and this looks like the place to get it.
Thanks

| | | Tina,
Welcome to the forums, this is the place to get information and support!
I can't help with Janumet but I know somebody with experience will chime in soon.
Just wondering, do you watch your carb intake and how often you test?

Welcome to the forums. Are you being physically active? How is your carb intake? I don't know anything about Janumet but I'm sure someone here will answer your question very soon.

| | Thanks to everyone!! I am starting to feel that I have made the right decision to join.
Activity is part of my problem . I attempt to test 3-4 times a day. Most time it is about 2 hours after meals and 1st thing in the morning before meds or bkfast.
I really don't count carbs...well the truth no I don't. I try to avoid "whites" and attempt to eat whole wheat, nuts, fruits and veggies (limited on what I like).
There for awhile I was on a regular swim program that seemed to help. After getting sick with a cold, I took up walking during lunch, then the summer heat set in 2 years ago.
