Hello everyone. I am so happy I've discovered this forum. It seems like a great place for info and support. I was diagnosed as a T2 in 2004. I have been struggling to get control of my BS levels. Ive been on metformin for the past four years and just recently started taking glipizide. My A1c is 9.8 (down from 10.7). I hope to learn a lot from you and I look forward to talking with you. |

AC1 so far was 9.5 so just waiting for a couple of others tests. I found this site a couple of weeks ago and love it. So much information and very nice people.

Byetta 5 mcg
HCTZ 12.5 mg every other day for BP
Enalapril 20 mg 1 daily (ace-inhibitor)
Lower carb dieter (approx. 75 total carbs/day, more on weekends), taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets Initial A1C 8/06: 9.6
11/06: 6.2.
03/07: 5.3
06/07: 5.4
10/07: 5.3
05/08: 6.2 (right after dealing with shingles and bronchitis)  |
