Hi Mars! Been missing you and glad to hear you are doing well. Just remember, if the baby thing gets overwhelming, adoption is a great alternative! Babies all need parents! You will make a terrific mom.

Hugs to you, my friend. Mich

Welcome back. What IS the baby issue? I may have missed the question in an earlier post. Are you adopting? Having trouble conceiving?

If you can't think of a name, I like Mike.
Mike

Unlike most of my friends growing up, I liked my name. In fact, I gave it to my son too. He's not a junior but I won a get with my ex (his mom) and I got to choose the name. Might be why she divorced me 15 years later....

Nice that you are back whatever name you choose.

I am going to have to look up a previous post to find out what the existing problem is. As usual I missed something. While I do that, my single most powerful lesson in this was provided by a neighbor. She had a mortgage business, a type A personality and was driven in EVERYTHING she did to get it done NOW, and perfectly and better than anybody, etc. She ran charity drives, political campaigns, and community events.

She had also gone through 3 rounds of infertility treatments driving an hour to Baltimore for shots over a period of years. Expensive, painful and stressful.

At some point, market conditions forced to give up her business and kind of withdrew from all the cr*p. We called it relaxing. Within 2 months she was pregnant. Within 2 years, she had a second boy.

So her problem was stress, not diabetes. Diabetes certainly can heighten stress so if that's part of the problem I haven't heard about, relax. Otherwise ignore my story.

Searching old threads now...
Mike

Ok, so I found the original thread and you relaxing isnt going to help much. Sorry about that. Maybe having hubby's the test done at a different time will show a different result. Diet, exposure to chemicals at work and other stuff like that may have temporarily caused the abnormal sperm.

Sorry for all this.
Mike
