Smile hello

Always trying to learn more have had diabetes since I was 38 and 62 now most days I'm find retired but still sub...worked for ARC for 20 years Everyone take care and give care

thanks penny

not much to say been and still on humlin n and r and sometimes I have to use the betta(spelling) pen if dinner outings or wedding etc....I do have a question if you are on the pump someone told me they were taken off but still take several needles a day???

My AC1 could be better we ride bikes several times a week and do some exercises have a few pieces up stairs My husband also is a diabetic uses the 24hr insulin.. we have a large yard do the yard work ourselfs both us like the outdoors we live in south jersey and at times much to close to the casinos well thats about it for now

T2, diagnosed 8/31/06.
Metformin 500 mg twice daily
HCTZ 12.5 mg every other day for BP
Enalapril 20 mg 1 daily (ace-inhibitor)
Lower carb dieter (approx. 75 total carbs/day, more on weekends), taking chromium, multivitamin and fish oil tablets


Initial A1C 8/06: 9.6
11/06: 6.2.
03/07: 5.3
06/07: 5.4
10/07: 5.3
05/08: 6.2 (after dealing with shingles & bronchiti)
2/09: 5.5
