Hello I think I will try again

Hi I have been a member for a while but my work schedule kept me off the computer for about a year. I had time to check email and that's about it. It really stunk since I am a avid pc gamer. I went a little nuts with out my games for stress relief.
Work had me on twelve hour days 5 pm to 5 am. My numbers stunk. I went from 6.3 a1c to a 7.5 in 6 months due to stress and not getting the proper nutrion. I never had time to sit down and eat aproper meal. I was either working and grabbing some thing frozen or a sleep. So, finally after 6 months of that I get on to a single shift for the last six months and I am getting the numbers down not great but down. (7.1) I am eatting much better and luckily through all the stress and work I did not have any complications.
The shift I am on is not much better for my daily numbers 2nd shift but it is a improvement. My doctor keeps telling me to get back on 1st shift but I can't so I just do the best I can.
Well Hopefully I will post and read more and be a better forum member. Because I remember when I joined this was a great group of people and everyone was helpful and friendly.
See you online.

Welcome back to the forums. Well done on managing to eat better and get your numbers down. Sorry that you cannot get a shift that suits you better but clearly you are working as well as you can with the one you have got. I hope that 2009 sees even more improvement for you. Keep up the good work. Oh and Happy New Year to you.

Welcome back Ricros!

It sounds like you have had a hard time dealing with all this and it is good to hear you are feeling better, improving your numbers and feeling more in control again.

It is still a great place with so many kind, knowledgeable and helpful people! I look forward to hearing more from you as we get to know you

Take care and type with you soon,

Cass
