| | | Helloooooo All I'm Lori and I am from Orange County, CA. I have had type 2 diabetes since 2001. I was diet controlled but recently had to go on metformin. I am here to get more information and meet new friends and maybe be of some help to others.
I am Vegan and have found that I feel better being vegan than I did when I was eating meat. If anyone has questions about that, I have some experience in that area.
Have a great day! |

| | | Hi Lori and Welcome to Diabetes Forums. I have just started eating vegetarian and find that I also am feeling much better without meat in my diet. I have had a hard time not replacing carbs for the meat that I am not eating. I am still eating dairy and eggs.
Can you give me a sample of your daily diet?

Many people will try to tell you what you can’t eat with diabetes.
Most will be well-meaning.
Rather than compounding the problem by telling you what you should
eat, I’d recommend a simpler method, eat by your meter. Buddy 7 Essex uk |
