Hi zippy and welcome to the forum
Being newly diagnosed can be very overwhelming, so you've definitely come to the right place for some support and helpful advice.
Tell us a little about yourself. What type are you and where are you from?

Iam a type two and use lantus and am working with a R.D.A. who is adjusting the insulin as I go along.Iam Canadian if my EH did not give it away. Iam from Hamilton Onatario.I really just want to stop the insulin and just do without after I loose weight. Weight got me into this mess in the first place and now Iam paying the price. I just hope I can get off it because I dont like being sick.

hi Zippy, i hear your frustration...best advice is to start watching your carbs and exercise more...hopefully you will come off the insulin...hang in there...

Welcome
First off you're not sick.
Second your weight didn't give you diabetes.

You have a chronic condition that with care will drop into the background of your life and at worst be irritating at times.

Again, Welcome

Art
