43-year-old Type 1 Introducing myself

Hello everyone,

43-year-old male, I have had Type 1 for about 30 years. So far I have avoided any major medical issues, and hope to continue that trend.

My Doctor JUST switched me over to Lantus. First time seeing her was today, and wow is she awesome.

This really seems like a friendly online community with a lot of knowledge.

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place, very supportive and informative.
Glad you were pleased with your new doc, that always helps. I've only been on Lantus, but I've been very happy.

Hope you visit often.

Welcome Aftiel, I'm glad you can join us. It's Great to hear that you
haven't suffered any major damage from Diabetes and I also hope it stays
that way for you.
I'd be interested in knowing how you re-act to the Lantus as I will
probably be on that in the near future since my Lente(which I'm Happy with)
is discontinued. What Insulins were you on just before Lantus?
Okay, I'll bite. Why is your new Doctor awesome? Why did you change Docs?
If you don't mind me asking? I'm sure that you will add much to
Your New Community as I know you will gain much from it. Enjoy.
