I'm the new guy

Hi. I am a 57 year old Type II male. Found out I was diabetic about 2.5 years ago when I developed a urinary infection. I have been on various medicines but decided in 11/04 to start taking this matter seriously when my new doctor told me he was going to up my dosages. Have lost almost 50 pounds in the last year and have tried to be very careful about my diet. I am still a bit confused about some of the issues with this disease and hope to get some answers from the people on this forum.

So taking care of it is the Best you can do. You've lost almost 50 lbs., Great
