hello everyone

hi just thought i would say hi, i have two girls 8yrs and 6yrs, the eldest is suffering from type 1 diabetes, and was diagnosed new years eve 2yrs ago. it is nice to actually find a forum for parents and sufferers of diabetes. It can get very lonely not knowing any one with this problem.

Hello Sharon and welcome. I am sorry your little one got the big D, but it sounds like you are taking good care of her.

I am the diabetic in my family, but I know there are a number of parents here. You have found a great place with some great people. Jump right in and ask questions or leave comments. Maybe even encourage the kids to join as well (or moderators do a good job of keeping it clean).

Hi Sharon: I'm glad that you are here with us. Although I'm sad your
lttle Girl has Diabetes. What's her and her Sister's names, if you don't
mind me asking? Are you in the UK? There are several Mom's and Dad's
here with young children with Diabetes as you probably noticed. Don't be
afraid to ask anything and hopefully someone will have an answer for you. You may also comment on any topic if you want. Welcome.
